The Bridge – 2004

Another year!…
Let’s cross “The Bridge”
T’wixt old and new,
Let’s keep “The Faith”
Strong and true,
Let’s take heart
And try anew:
There must be something
Each one can do!

It need not be a “Grand Gesture”
(For which of us is good at that?)
Just stop awhile and “share a word”
Or, better still, a “Good old Chat”!
For, event just, a welcoming smile
To the stranger, is well worthwhile!
