Perchance to Dream

When old folk put aside their book,
And look around for a quiet nook,
Where they can dream of days gone by,
Don’t pity them with “word or sigh”
For they have taken a quantum-leap,
And tho’, to you, seem half-asleep,
They’re re-living their happy-times,
With ne’er a dreary thought in mind,
So, let them dream … (t’would be “most kind”!)
